STEPS OF WORK
Forest fund survey
Includes studying the Customer’s design documentation, conducting field surveys of the forest fund, and preparing permits for logging.
Preparation of saw logs
Preparation in accordance with the Customer's technical specifications. Tree felling and cross-cutting into logs is carried out by logging machines – harvesters. Other tractors - forwarders - carry out transportation (skidding) and formation of a pile of saw logs.
Removal of saw logs
Includes the design of forest roads, construction and maintenance of forest roads and forest highways, loading operations, and transportation of saw logs along the Customer’s routes. Various types of road construction equipment, hydraulic manipulators, timber trucks, and river ferries are used. If forest logistics involves the movement of forest by rafts, then work is carried out to form the raft.
Reforestation and fire prevention measures
This includes work provided for by the forest plot development project, which allows minimizing damage to the forest fund from forest felling, as well as reducing the risks of the occurrence and spread of fires in the forest. Here we use the entire range of specialized equipment: from logging complexes for clearing forests to automated planting units for sowing tree seeds.
